Im letzten Oktober spielten Simply Red begleitet von einem 40-köpfigen Orchester drei außergewöhnliche Shows im Amsterdamer Ziggo Dome. Mit der Auswahl der Songs präsentierten Simply Red auch einen eindrucksvollen Rückblick auf ihre einzigartige Karriere, einschließlich der Mega-Hits und modernen Klassiker "Holding Back The Years", "Stars", "Fairground" und "If You Don’t Know Me By Now".

Am 23. November erscheint mit „Symphonica in Rosso“ ein Mitschnitt dieser Shows auf  CD und DVD. Vorab gab es am 12. November für alle Simply Red-Fans eine einmalige Gelegenheit das Konzert im Kino auf der großen Leinwand mit atemberaubenden 5.1.Surround Sound zu erleben.

Zweifellos zählt Mick Hucknall zu den begabtesten und erfolgreichsten Sängern Großbritanniens – mit einer Stimme, wie sie kein anderer hat. Mit seiner Band Simply Red blickt er auf eine unglaubliche Karriere zurück, holte mit fünf Alben Platz 1 in den britischen Charts und verkaufte über 60 Millionen Alben weltweit.

"Symphonica In Rosso" ist eine Konzertveranstaltung in Holland, die jedes Jahr stattfindet und immer einen renommierten Künstler einlädt, drei Abende lang mit einem ganzen Orchester aufzutreten. Mit Simply Reds Performance feierte die Konzertreihe 2017 ihr 10-jähriges Bestehen. Zu den früheren Künstlern, die "Symphonica In Rosso" spielten, gehören Diana Ross, Sting und Lionel Ritchie.

Die physische Version enthält ein Hardback-Deluxe-3-Disc-Format mit einem Doppel-CD-Album mit 20 Live-Titeln und einer kompletten Konzert-DVD, die exklusiv bei simplered.com erhältlich ist. Die Standard CD, die bei allen teilnehmenden Einzelhändlern erhältlich ist, umfasst 16 Tracks auf CD plus Live-Konzert-DVD. Die digitale Version enthält alle 20 Live-Audio-Tracks der Nacht, wobei der Konzertfilm ebenfalls zum Kauf und Download verfügbar ist.

After the success of their ‘Sentience’ EP, hard-hitting UK quartet Skarlett Riot soon began to attract interest from far and wide. Signing deals with TKO Agency and The Artery Foundation management were just the beginning for this highly rated act – soon they had signed a world-wide record deal with the pro-active and forward thinking Swedish label Despotz Records.

 

With the ink still drying on their contracts the four-piece, led by the unique and passionate vocals of Skarlett, headed back in to the studio to begin work on their hugely anticipated second album. The new material is harder, heavier, faster but still driven by the anthemic hooks that have kept this band at the forefront of the UK modern metal scene. The band have constantly developed and honed their craft; and the band are in comfortable in their darker and heavier guise, with elements of Asking Alexandria, In This Moment and Bullet for My Valentine shining through; opening up all new possibilities for the band. The result is the amazing new album – ‘Regenerate’. Whereas their peers are all seemingly heading towards a lighter direction, Skarlett Riot are embracing the anger and aggression of the modern world and challenging it into some of their most challenging material to date. The commanding voice of Skarlett has taken on a bolder and more forceful presence, whilst the guitars of Danny are razor sharp and incisive, giving the rhythm section of Luke and Martin the room to progress and expand into a taut, almost hostile driving force, as the first single ‘Break’ ably demonstrates!
